How "predicted next gameweek" is worked out
Each player's predicted score is FPL's own official figure (called ep_next in their data), not something calculated by this site. FPL generates it from things like a player's recent form, their upcoming fixture's difficulty, and their likelihood of starting. FPL doesn't publish the exact formula behind that number, so it's their model's estimate, not a guarantee.
What this page does with it: only your starting XI counts toward the total, bench players don't, and your captain's predicted score is doubled, matching how real FPL scoring works. Chips like Bench Boost or Triple Captain aren't factored in.
